Polymaths

A polymath (Greek: πολυμαθής, polymathēs, "having learned much") is a person whose expertise spans a significant number of different subject areas. We definitely don't justify expertise, but we do have a wide and diverse field of... intrigue!

After numerous conversations with good friend of mine and author, Ashley Kalym, we finally got down to recording some of them.

Polymaths is a show where we chat about and discuss anything and everything that we find interesting or fascinating. Over the episodes, we've covered sciences and space, writing, photography, archery and what calculus means in Latin.

We hope you enjoy listening!

Polymaths – Episode 16

Special guest star this week! As Ash is very busy packing up for his house move we struggled to coincide our schedules this week. I took the opportunity to sit down with one of the most influential people in my up bringing and one who was almost solely responsible for my approach, curiosity and attitude towards life and in particular engineering and DIY if you like. Ladies and gentlemen, my Dad. Brilliant to sit down with him and talk and find out little nuggets of history. For instance, I had no idea he'd played football in an old scout hall with a football made of socks with Kevin Hector, one of the Derby County great strikers. Anyway, with no further ado, shall we get started... My Dad!

As always, please get in touch, you can find us both on twitter @ChrisFrosin, @CalisthenicsUK and Ash’s new twitter of @AFMylak. Feel free to use the Polymath Twitter page of @PolymathCast too!
